Buttercup Skin Treatment

Suitable for all skin conditions Buttercup Skin Cream is easy to make.
Using an old pan on a low heat slowly melt 250g of Petroleum Jelly and add as many fresh Buttercup flower heads as you can.
Be very careful not to let the mixture boil as it will be ruined.

Press the flower heads in the Petroleum Jelly so they are all covered and then leave the mixture to simmer on a very low heat for about three quarters of an hour.

Then before it has cooled strain the ointment into jars and leave to set.

The strained flower heads can be composted.

The Buttercup skin treatment is very soothing for sun or wind burn and excellent for soothing dry cracked skin.
Safe for sensitive skin, chapped lips and eczema sufferers, wonderful for a soothing foot massage and ideal to keep skin on your feet elbows and knees supple and smooth.
Use as a lip balm.
Can be safely used on babies, children and adults of all ages.
